Go to the back of your grocery store where they bake them and they will give you a free sample. Bring a little kid and get 2.
You can BUY them at any bakery, or bakery section of the grocery.... then, when you give them to your friends, they'll be FREE to them .. That should answer both the buying & free parts of your question.....

the best lace you can get them from is the nearest walmart, you can get at least a dozen for no more than 2 dollars or so. that would be on the bakery area. they also have some on the clearence that has been left over for no more than 2 days, or less.
THe best cookies are mrs. fields. the only free way is if you have someone else make them using their own money, time and ingredients and then give them to you
