Are you making encheladas? Then dip them in the sauce you are going to use. Just a quick dip will help make them pliable.

Or steam them. If yu have a bamboo steamer or oven just a collander put it over a pan of boiling water. Let them sit for 30 or so seconds then flip and repeat. Then fill and fold.

Also if you get the flavored flour tortillas, they are a lot more pliable than the reg flour and will be less likely to break and crack.

I will usually heat them a little (try 20 seconds, all microwaves are different) in the microwave then roll them, then they are softer and easier to use. Good luck!

Warming them in the microwave should help. They are a little more pliable that way.

I would say put a few in the microwave and heat for about 20-30 seconds. If you warm them up in the microwave make sure you stuff them before they cool down. If you are more comfortable with a stove you can heat them on the stove top. If you are going to stuff them they will still be good if done on the stove. Good luck and hope it turns out how you expect it.

In a cast iron fry pan,, very warm (NOT hot) with Tbls of oil
2 - 4 seconds on each side and into a folded napkin,,, to take excess oil,,, cover to keep warm...
There is a Styrofoam bowl with a lid JUST for this...
Good luck

I microwave them between two damp paper towels. They are nice and pliable then.
