Weizenmehl Type 405
Greetings from Hamburg, Germany
Heinz

To substitute all-purpose flour for cake flour, measure out 1 cup of all-purpose flour, and then remove 2 tablespoons

Corn startch. But im not for sure..

omg don't use cornstarch!

1 cup plain white flour with 1 tsp baking powder= Self Rising Flour

Otherwise you can just use plain white flour for all-purpose, it's the same equivalence.

mehl is flour in germany. all purpose flour is bleached. Just go to a local grocery store and ask the person what they use to make cookies with. They might point you to the right flour that you need. i have lived in germany for twenty years. So i hope i helped you but that is what i did when i needed something from the store. Try a Globus mart near you too.
