What can i use to press hamburger?!
Answers: i dont have an actual hamburger press what else can i use?
Common guys, give the girl a break. Some people like their burgers perfectly round. Try this. Roll the patty into a ball.Put it on a chopping board, pull a cling film over it (so it won't stick) and then use a plastic lid to press it down with and you will have a perfect round patty that will put Burger King to shame, lol.
why would you need something to form a hamburger patty? Just put a ball on a cutting board and push it down with your hand:)
Use a flat bottomed glass
your hands or your foot or your forehead
Go to gallagher.com and order a Sledgomatic. It will press hamburger, and also double as a juicer and fruit chopper.
what about rolling the hamburger mixture into a ball then flattening it out with your hands (they have to be clean!!!).
If you don't want to use your hands then use a rolling pin or an egg flipper (spatula)
use the bottom of a large plate or platter and mash it. Then to get all the patties to be the same size, use a small bowl upside down to cut them out.
i roll my hamb. meat in balls ans lay in between two sheets of parchment paper aprox 5" sqaure give it a bang with a large can i use the bottom of a 100 oz can at work, this way you make burgers faster than mc dee's

Oh, yes! A hamburger press!
If you don't like the feel of pressing the hamburger between your palms then try rolling the hamburger into balls then pressing them between two pieces of wax paper on top of a cutting board or the counter top.
I personally make them by making the hamburger ball, then pinching the ball into a patty shape with my thumb and pointer finger. This helps to keep them from becoming too thin.
Just use your hands.
