Grilled sandwich ideas?!

Question: I'm trying to think of sandwiches I can make that are grilled, aside from grilled cheese. What things can you put inside a grilled sandwich? Please list as many ideas as possible that would be good. Thanks.

Almost anything that can take a little heat can be put into a grilled sandwich.

My personal fav is mozzarella or provolone, fresh basil, and tomato with a little red wine vinegar.

You could also do something like apple, brie, and onion (a friend of mine likes that mix).

Or try mix and match on these ingredients:

Meats:
Turkey
Ham
Prosciutto
Serrano Ham
Chicken
Corned Beef
Pastrami
Roast Beef
Pork

Cheese:
Cheddar
Mozzarella
Provolone
Muenster
Brie
Havarti

Plant Life:
Apple
Basil (fresh)
Spinach (fresh)
Pepper (any type - spicy, sweet, etc)
Onion
Squash (precook) - e.g. Summer Squash, Eggplant, Zucchini
Olives
Artichoke
Avocado

My dad makes grilled peanut butter, honey and raisins. He loves it.

Grilled ham and cheese.
Grilled salami and cheese

- Reubans (corned beef , thousand island dressing, & saurcraut)
-Grilled chicken, cheese and pesto
- turkey, cheese, and mustard
-tuna melt
Pretty much anything.............

cream cheese for spreading

cooked the mushrooms first, but just putting them on a pan and frying untill cooked,
then grilled the english muffin or facoscia bread ( the two best! ) spread some cream cheese on it, put the mushrooms cheese and spinach in and grilled it like a paini!
it is so good, and also healthy!
you can wrap it up in tin foil and warm it up at school or work and it actually tastes even better!

Good down home sandwich
Fried Bologna
American Cheese
Tomato
Mayo
Wheat Bread
