Can you use baking powder instead of yeast?!

Question: eh?

Answers: eh?

Of course You might have to experiement...

No, the baking powder doesn't make the dough rise

some times

baking powder and yeast are two different things....yeast is used to help things rise! thats what its good for....depends on what your making but if you need like bread to rise of dough you should use yeast...

Not if it's a yeast bread ... just follow the recipe. If you DO use yeast, make sure that it hasn't expired too.....

No, completely different things!!

nope

No NEVER

They are not interchangeable even though they are both leavening agents...

...baking powder is a combo of baking soda and cream of tarter,,,,,soda needs an acid in order to rise.....cream of tarter provides this acid.

you can make breads out of either,,,,but, they have different processes.

no because you will get a different result.
