Is there anyway to doctor up chicken nuggs?!
Answers: I hate them but it's all I have til payday.
put some italian spices/herbs (oregano, basil, etc). Throw them in some pasta with sauce and some cheese on top. Voila! you have "all-i-have-until-payday" chicken parmesean! :)
honey
put them on top of a pizza????
I love chicken nuggets, mostly cuz its the only meat I eat and I dont have much money for food either...but the sauce you put on them is very important. BBQ is good and Tereaki is delicious. Sweet and Sour and honey mustard go well too.,
melt some cheese over them .... stick them in a quesadilla ... use salsa to dip them in ...
Do you have any veggies and rice? You can always cook the nuggets, cut them in strips and toss them with some rice and maybe some pea pods/greenbeans/corn and wallah! You have instant stirfry.
cut them up and put them in soup thats pretty good
Stuff them with bacon & cheese
use them in place of chicken breasts in other dishes, cheese, something like that, hope u get paid soon im not a fan either couldn't last long!
If you have some other stuff around you could make Sweet and Sour Chicken. Intead of chow mein noodles, I would fix rice. This recipe is just a suggestion. You can make due with what you have on hand.
1 package Tyson? Chicken Nuggets (Boxed), 12 oz.
1 can pineapple chunks, 8 oz.
3/4 cup pineapple juice, unsweetened
3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
4 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon cooking oil
2 medium carrots, cut into 1-inch julienne strips (1 cup)
1 package frozen pea pods, 6 oz.
1 can chow mein noodles, 5 oz.
Cooking Instructions
1. Wash hands. Prepare chicken according to package directions.
2. Drain pineapple, reserving juice; combine with additional juice to make 1 1/4 cups. Mix juice, teriyaki sauce, cornstarch and brown sugar in bowl or measuring cup; set aside.
3. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high. Stir-fry carrots 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Stir in juice mixture, pineapple and pea pods. Cook and stir until sauce is thickened and bubbly. Continue stirring 2 minutes more. Stir in chicken and heat through.
Serving Suggestion: Serve chicken mixture over chow mein noodles. Refrigerate leftovers.
I like to dip chicken nuggets (among other foods) in a horseradish cream sauce.
Combine 4 tbs mayo with drained horseradish to taste (I like mine spicy so I use 2 tbs), mix, and season with s&p.
