HUNGRY BUT NO FOOD! Ideas?!
Answers: Ok so I have pretty much an empty fridge and am craving a cold pasta salad.... I have angel hair pasta... not much mayo.. but a lot of salad dressings...any ideas on a simple pasta salad that uses common items?
Pasta salad is perfect with Italian salad dressing or any other vinaigrette.
Cut thin slivers (julienne) of your cheese and cold cuts. About 2 inches long and 1/4 inch thick. Boil your pasta, drain it and rinse with cold water. Immediately toss it with a vinaigrette or Italian dressing (not fat free, please).
If you have any Italian herbs or oregano, sprinkle it on. A dash of garlic powder and crushed red pepper will kick it up a notch.
If you have any frozen or fresh broccoli, that would go great. Cook it up and toss it in. Slivered onion too, if you've got it.

why dont you just cut up the meat and shred the cheese add it to the cold cooked pasta and add some kind of dressing to it like an italian dressing or some kind of vinger and oil and add a little salt and pepper.
Go to the grocery store and buy some pasta suitable for pasta salad (less than $1) and whatever other ingredients you want to add to it. Don't try to make it with angel hair.
u should go to the store and buy the ingrediants to make enchiladas or make ur self a simple hoagie, or the easy bowl of cereal hope u have something good, enjoy, or u could have fruit or a salad hope u have something good to eat = D
boil the pasta, rinse in cold water, or even let it sit in ice water a couple minutes to cool off. Drain.
Toss some italian salad dressing w/ the pasta, and add chopped lunchmeats, maybe a drained can of tomatoes, and your shredded cheese. A boiled egg would be good, or any olives you might have, too. Enjoy!
