HAMBURGER TATOR TOTS/ HASH BROWN HOTDISH
8 oz. (approximately 4 c.) frozen shredded hash browns/Tator tots
1 lb. hamburger
1 med. onion, chopped
Salt and pepper
10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
10 oz. frozen peas
1 c. milk
1 cup sour cream (add more to taste)
6 slices Velveeta cheese
3 oz. can French fried onions
Butter 9 x 13 inch glass pan. Cover bottom of pan with hash browns/tator tots. Put browned hamburger and onion on top. Sprinkle peas over hamburger. Mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream and milk in bowl. Pour over above mixture. Place cheese on top and cover with foil. When done, sprinkle on fried onions and return to oven with the oven shut off for 15 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Fry off the chicken with garlic and onion, add some veggies, mixed herbs and stock, season with soy and pepper and serve with fluffy white rice or mashed potato.

What about Tacos, Hamburgers, or Meatloaf?

Here's a really cute mini-meatloaf recipe! I think it's great because it gives you options.. http://kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/RecipeD... so if you don't have one ingredient, you can just pick another!

Here's a recipe for a "Mexican Lasagna" that looks really good:
http://kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/RecipeD...

Tacos are always easy.. just brown the hamburger, grab some tortillas/shells, and put in whatever toppings you want.

Here's a recipe for sticky chicken.. It's SO good and crazy easy. It's for the crockpot. If you don't have a spice, just skip it or even try substituting.. It will still taste awesome! I usually make it with drumsticks, but whole chickens work too.

4 tsp salt
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 large roasting chicken
1 cup chopped onion

In a small bowl, thoroughly combine all the spices. Rub the spice mixture into/onto the chicken all over making sure it is evenly distributed and down deep into the skin. Place in a resealable plastic bag, seal and refrigerate overnight. (If you're in a rush, this step isn't necissary)

Put the chicken into the crockpot and do not add any liquid. As the cooking process goes on it will produce it's own juices. Cook on low 8 to 10 hours and it will be falling off the bone tender.

If the chicken is drumsticks, sometimes I will just bake my drumsticks at around 375 degrees until crispy with a little bit of italian dressing over them. That is really yummy. If the chicken is breasts, you could try frying them up, cutting them into slices, and tossing them in a salad for some chicken ceaser salad.

EDIT: Here's a really yummy crockpot recipe for chicken breasts (boneless skinless) you just throw everything into the crockpot.. I've made it before, it's really yummy. It all falls apart and goes great in tortillas or even by itself:

Ingredients:
1 can black beans, drained
1 cans whole kernel corn, drained
1 cup salsa
4-5 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 pkg. Cream Cheese

Throw all ingredients into a crockpot, cook on medium for about 4-5 hours or until tender and falling apart..

I just really love crockpot recipes. They are sooo yummy! If you don't have a crockpot, You could probably cook in slowly on the stove, too.. just make sure you keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn.

Note: If there is something in here you do not like then you can just remove it if it is a vegetable.

INGREDIENTS
1 onion, chopped
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
1 tomato, seeded and chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 pounds ground chicken
1 egg
1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 tablespoon Old Bay ? Seasoning
kosher salt to taste
black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil grate.
2. Lightly spray a saute pan with cooking or oil spray over medium heat. Saute the onion with the garlic first, then the bell pepper, then the mushrooms, tomatoes and carrots, all to desired tenderness. Set aside and allow all vegetables to cool completely.
3. In a large bowl, combine the chicken and vegetables. Add the egg, bread crumbs and seasonings to taste. Mix all together well and form into 8 patties.
4. Grill over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.

Hope this helps!

i would make chilli chicken wontons, and pan fry them.

Try stir fry chicken and noodles. It's fast, healthy and yummy.
Cut the chicken and veg (preferably onion, carrots, celery, baby corn, mushroom for example) into strips
Use a non stick frying pan if you do not have a wok, heat up 1 tbs. oil. Toss the chicken till cooked, add in the onion and other veg . Toss or stir them ,add soya sauce,* Thai sweet chili and garlic sauce or any spices that you have and add in the cooked noodles. Stir to blend all the ingredients in and it's ready to enjoy!
* Thai sweet chili and garlic sauce is very mild but check the strength first to make sure it is not too strong for your kids.

it depends on the veggies u have. when u say burger chicken, do u mean ground chicken or ground beef AND chicken? if its ground chicken why not try to make a meatloaf from it, I had a turkey meatloaf once before going vegan and it was out of this world. I'm sure it would be the same w/ chicken.

If u want to go to allrecipes.com they have a recipe ingrediant search, just put in the items u have and it will give u some recipes :-)
