Bread recipe with baking powder instead of yeast???!


Question: I want to make a loaf of white or french bread, but have no yeast. All I have is baking soda and powder,, does anyone have a recipe I could use???

Quick breads can be made with baking soda instead of yeast. Try an Irish Soda Bread.

Oh, if you happen to have a bottle of beer in the fridge, you could make beer bread.

It won't work

Ive made bp biscuits but you got to have yeast for bread so it will rise.

there r none bread has to have yest to rise it just a necessary chemical change that has to take place 4 bread 2 B bread
sorry and even if their waz some it would not be 2 good

but their is a simple 1 that u can make in the microwave with flower water and salt it's something like stone bread because it was originally cooked on a hot stone

There's too much gluten in that type of dough.
