Is white bread really so bad?!

Question: There is only white bread in the kitchen, 90 calories a slice and it says its a source of fibre. I usually have wholegrain, but will it be ok tomorrow to have a sandwich with white

Yeah, you have to live a little. And also, a lot of the "whole wheat" breads on the market are basically white bread with some molasses or other brown ingredient to color it.

Yes, you will be fine for one day.

one day won't hurt. i would try to stay away from eat and eat whole wheat bread instead. if you only have that it won't hurt to eat it one day.

Only excess and repeteadly eating the same thing would make food bad for you.

Go and have you white sandwich, it won't do any harm for once, trust me, I'm a chef.

If a bread states "Wheat bread"its not really a lie...bread is in deed made of wheat...but it is just white bread colored with molasses. If it is labels ":whole wheat"...it must contain the whole wheat grain.

As for it being Bad.....well.it processed and your body doesn't have to work so hard to process it ...so it really isn't fuel for your body to burn...

So, you're only talking about ONE SANDWICH here? of course, it's ok! People have been eating white bread for hundreds of years!

I buy White-wheat by Nature's Own. It looks and tastes like regular white bread, but is very moist and has only 50 calories per slice and has 5 grams of fiber.
