LAYERED TACO DIP

Get a big serving tray/platter, with sides and layer these items, in this order:
1 can refried beans
1 small container refrigerated guacamole dip
1 small container/jar salsa
1 shredded iceburg lettuce
8 oz. shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese mix
1 small can sliced black olives
4-5 chopped fresh tomatoes
.....Serve with sturdy tortilla chips to scoop up (the triangles or circles work better than the strips)

HOT QUESO DIP
2 pkg. (8 oz each) softened cream cheese
2 cans Rotel tomatoes (with or without jalapenos)
8 oz. grated cheddar or Mexican cheeses
Mix all together and put into small crockpot, or casserole dish..... Heat and serve hot with chips for dipping

just use Velveeta cheese and jalapenos yum

Guacamole, salsa, sour cream, jalapeno peppers, cheese, refried beans.

This recipe is alsome
All you have to do is melt some velveta cheese and mix in some salsa. It is tasty and smooth. But if that doesn't float your boat, check out some nacho recipes at

I make taco dip that is so easy but so good people will be asking you to bring it to parties.

You will need:

16 ozs sour cream
1 lb ground beef, browned, drained and seasoned with a
packet of taco seasoning (you could also use cubed chicken)
1 head of lettuce
2 medium tomatoes chopped
4 cups of cheddar cheese (a 16 oz pkg)
Optional toppings, sliced black olives, jalapeno peppers, re-fried beans anything you would put on a taco.

Spread the bottom of a large platter with the sour cream, layer with the ground beef, lettuce, cheese and finish with tomatoes.

If you are traveling with the dip I carry the tomatoes in a separate container and add them when I arrive to keep things from getting soggy.

Serve with tortilla chips.
