it is one segment of the garlic. I love to cook and i used the wrong ammount so now im not allowed to use garlic lol. Remember just on segment!

1 section

One little segment. But the more garlic you add, the better it will taste. Just serve something minty for dessert :P

The bulb is the whole big piece. When you separate all the little pieces - those are the cloves. Yum garlic is awesome.

Clove of garlic is one little segment. and now count and make the meal, it might have been waiting for so many days.
Bon appetite.

Just one of the little half moon sections.

A clove is one of the little sections. Usually you chop very finely and to release the juices better use the flat side of a heavy knife and crush it first.

one little segment

A clove is one segment.

Each segment (you know, like a segment of an orange) you take out is a clove.

One little section is a clove. Don't put the whole thing in, will be too much.
Good that you asked instead of just putting in the whole thing.

just one segment!!!

The small segment is a clove but from experience if it calls for one clove and they are small you will want to add 2 or one large segment. You cannot go wrong adding a little extra garlic.
