The perfect chocolate Brownies?!
Answers: I Love Chocolate Brownies, Cant get enough of them. But ALl the Recipes I Can find All have Nuts In them. I Cant STAND Nuts. Are there any recipes For brownies Not Based around Nuts?

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup confectioners' sugar
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2 Melt 1/2 cup butter. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix well.
3 Add in 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt, baking powder. Mix well. Spread batter into one 8x8 square baking pan.
4 Bake for 25 - 33 minutes.
5 To Make Frosting: Combine 3 tablespoons butter, 3 tablespoons cocoa, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Frost brownies while they are still warm.
Just leave them out. I make brownies all the time , and never put nuts in them.

If you reduce the egg to 3 and omit the cream cheese top entirely they turn out great.
just leave them out, of course!
Chocolate Brownies with Fewer Calories
INGREDIENTS
6 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup boiling water
4 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup white sugar
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar for dusting
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
Melt chocolate in a large heat proof bowl over a pan of simmering water or in a microwave oven. Stir frequently until smooth then stir in the boiling water. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
Whisk the egg whites and vanilla into the chocolate mixture. Combine the sugar, flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the chocolate mixture just until blended. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges pull away from the sides of the pan. Let cool completely before cutting into squares and dusting with confectioners' sugar.
CREAM CHEESE BROWNIES
2 pkgs. Baker's German sweet chocolate (less 1 row)
10 tbsp. butter
2 sm. pkgs. cream cheese
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 tbsp. & 1 c. flour, unsifted
3 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
Melt chocolate and 6 tablespoons butter over heat and set aside.
Cream 4 tablespoons butter with cream cheese. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar; beat. Blend in 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons flour and 1 teaspoon vanilla, and set aside.
Beat 4 eggs (fluffy) and slowly beat in remaining 1 1/2 cups sugar until thick. Add baking powder, salt and 1 cup flour. Blend in chocolate mixture, vanilla.
Spread 1/2 of chocolate batter in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with cream cheese mixture. Spoon remaining chocolate batter on top. Zig-zag to make marble effect.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Cut in to squares when cool. Makes approximately 50 squares.
i cheat, and buy a box of mix. i like the dark chocolate, and then add my twist. i add toffee bits and BRANDY { about 1/4-1/2 cup } to the mix. this adds a lot of flavor, and gets rave reviews !!!
