It is yoghurt with mint and sometimes saffron or turmeric to give it that yellow tinge. It is called Raitha.

its chutney.....made out of cilantro leaves, chopped green chilies, garlic, salt, and lemon juice blended together...the consistency depends on how much water you add....
sometimes we also put in sour curd/yogurt or sugar as per the palate...

just to clarify:
"raita", another sidey we use, is essentially white in color becoz of the curd and is not liquidy....adding mint or cilantro makes it turn a very light green...initially I thought of answering "raita"...but then raita is used with rice or roti or veggies and is not served with tandoori chicken or lamb....

Vegetable sauce or salad. made up of mint, pepperment, etc
