If I want to use a microwave instead of the oven for a recipe, how should I adjust the settings...?!

Question: I want to make some cereal bars and I've got almost everything ready. These are the final instructions:

"Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes. Cut into bars."

I have a 1250-watt microwave and I want to use it instead of the oven to bake my cereal bars. How much time and at how much power (10-100%) should I change it to?

You can't use a microwave instead of an oven for baking; the heat of the oven makes the food crispy and brown. A microwave heats up the molecules from the inside out and will leave your food completely unsatisfactory.

i doubt you can
