I prefer plain flower but it depends on the person

both of them are taste great. if you want to get healthy food, then use oatmeal, if not use all-purpose flour for smooth and fluffy taste.

I don't like oats in my brownies, or whole grains at all, really. If I'm eating a brownie, I want to eat something fatty, chewy, gooey and unhealthy.

There are plenty of things I love oats in - fruit crisps, chocolate haystacks, oatmeal cookies - but brownies aren't one of them.

I don't see how you can replace all the flour with oatmeal, kind of chewy. I'll take the flour ones any day, thank you. Make oatmeal cookies if you want oatmeal.

flour

I don't like chunks in my brownies, so I'd leave out the oats... but that's my personal opinion. My daughter and I don't like nuts in them either.....
