Why are my pancakes always dry?!
A tbsp. of sour cream added with the other ingredients also makes a difference.
The eggnog idea sounds interesting....
Answers: Looks like you have some good answers there.1 more is to never over mix your batter.A few lumps in it are ok...they will disappear when cooking.

add a little more milk or water to them.
add some butter..
maybe more butter in the frying pan too.....
you cook them too long
I know.. it SUCKS!
haha.
I always choke on mine.
I always chug like orange juice or something with it.
more milk and a little baking powder
I always bury those bad boys in lots of Maple Syrup, and they are awesome!
your aren't doing something right if there dry, try milk,or water
Try yoghurt instead of milk in your mix. You can use flavoured yoghurts too, makes them a little interesting. If you are using a pre-mix blend, then you need to make your own. Email me if you want a nice recipe. Good Luck.
It doesnt have to be dry.... if u add syrup and butter... duh
add fat to them. It makes them moist
sounds like cooking too long. also to make them very moist and flavorfull, add some egg nog!
If you are using the mix from the box where u just add water, use egg nog in place of water! VERY GOOD!
Try adding a bit more milk! It should work.
don't keep them in fridge
Throw an egg or two into it if you have not already done so, Better then Butter!!
Before you make pancakes set out a casserole dish or a plate with a towel. As each pancake comes off the skillet, butter it and cover with the towel or dish cover. Each pancake will soak up the butter from the previous. They taste great this way and you only need to use a normal amount of butter. Also make sure you are using a little oil in the mix if it calls for it.
You can add a little more milk and put butter on the fry pan before you cook them, and maybe don't cook them as long.
add a dash of olive oil and cook less or turn down the heat
u need to add more fat, whether your using oil, butter, marg. etc. that is what needs to be adjusted....I do the bisquick ultimate pancake recipe, it has had the best success for me (I mean real made with flour ones are good, but too much of a hassle when this one is just as good)
I usually add one more egg, than what it calls for, and vegatable shortning will help keep it moist, also a little salt.
what's your measurements for your ingredients? maybe it's because of the milk or egg or you put too much of all-purpose flour that's make the batter dry. it can be the heat temperature.

2 teaspoons (7 grams) baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons (28 grams) granulated white sugar

Plus extra melted butter for greasing the pan.
