Can I freeze raw egg for cooking later - I'm making beef burgers to store in freezer for quick dinners.?!
Answers: I just want to throw together the beef burgers now, then freeze on a tray, so I have them ready to cook from frozen this week. Is it safe to make them with egg then freeze the whole raw lot and cook again from frozen? (Sorry am probably repeating myself, need to be clear that I'll be freezing RAW egg, then cooking it from frozen - a similar question already asked only got answers to do with cooked egg).
Perfectly fine. If you wanted to be safer, you could also buy pasteurized eggs and use them instead.
I've never thought to use egg in beef burgers. I only use it in meat loaf (and yes, I mix raw egg and freeze the mixture).
Go for it, it will be fine.
Yes. Freezing eggs is perfectly fine.

It will be fine, just avoid any pink in the middle.
As long as you're not trying to freeze whole raw eggs in the shell, you'll be fine.
It'll will work fine. I've never had "beef burgers" made with egg, but I know you put raw eggs in meatloaf and you can freeze that for cooking later with no problems.
absolutely! I have frozen raw egg mixed into a receipe many times including hamburger. Smelled and tasted just fine!
