Question: I have just finished preparing a chicken sunday roast for my family and as i cut up the meat i found a very small dead insect, it is inside the meat just above where the legs are, obviously we didn't have our roast, dinner was ruined and now i'm unsure what this unusual bug is and who do i report it to ?

ughhh!!!! Take it to Tescos where you bought it and demand a refund, also request that it sent off for investigation (Bug included) and tell them you want a full explanation and compensation for the rest of the food that you'd prepared!!! They will probably end up sending you some gift vouchers for the trouble!!!

hard to prove your case. max is probably getting a refund for the chicken if your grocer is familiar with you

I would write a letter to the customer services dept of the shop where you bought the chicken. if possible include the insect with the letter. you should get a voucher or something as compensation

Take it back to the store where you purchased the chicken from and talk to the store manager. Ask them who supplied the chicken to their store. Or, did you remember who it was from the packaging? For example, was it a Tyson Whole Roast chicken or something like that? You could look up the company on the internet. Did you WASH the chicken before you cooked it or was this INSIDE under the skin??

Tell the manager of a store you bought it at.

take it straight back to the store where you bought it from!!

lol you are supposed to wash the bird before you cook it. I guess I would call the store where you bought it and tell the manager. Go get some KFC and forget it.

take it back to the store. they should be able to help you . also take a picture of it so u will have proof of it later.

In terms of food, what exactly is the difference between an insect and a chicken? They are both meat. Meat inside meat.

YUCK!!! get that chicken and the packaging back to the supermarket asap
