This recipe was originally for hawaiian beef meat balls, but I use ground pork and it's nummy:

1 pound ground pork
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1 egg
1 teaspoon water
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons salad oil
1 cup pineapple chunks and syrup
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 green peppers, cut into strips

Season beef with salt and ginger. Form lightly into small balls. Dip in egg, slightly beaten with water, then in flour. Saute in salad oil; turn to brown on all sides. Take out meat balls and make sauce in same pan. Drain juice from pineapple; add water to make 1 cup; stir into drippings in pan.

Stir in brown sugar mixed with cornstarch, vinegar and soy sauce. Heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens; boil 3 min. Arrange meat balls, pepper strips, and pineapple in separate piles in pan; stir each gently to coat with sauce.

Cover; simmer 10 min. or until heated through, green pepper should be crisply tender. Serve with buttered hot noodles, plain or with a garnish of toasted shredded almonds.
