Whats the best way to store left over pancakes so they don't get soggy and gross?!

Question: Refrigerate or freeze in a zip lock bag.

Answers: Refrigerate or freeze in a zip lock bag.

freeze them

pancakes can be frozen then heated in microwave later

plastic wrap and refrigerate

Put in the fridge.

let them cool on a cooling rack, then freeze them

freezer

Freeze them...when you want to have them again, you can put them in the microwave for about 30 seconds...the water inside the pancake boils almost immediately and the pancake is like new...

Definitely freeze then. You can reheat weeks later or month later.

I layer them with waxed paper and freeze them to reheat later in the microwave or toaster.

Well, I never stored a pancake!! I would let them completely cool, place in a plastic sealable bag. the cooling part is important!!

Keep them in a low temp oven if you are using them within an hour. Otherwise, freezing them is an acceptable option.

well, if I'm planning on finishing them up in the next couple of days (from when I make them), I let them cool down completely then I store them in tupperware in the fridge.

I spread them out on a sheet pan and freeze them an hour or two, then put them in a zip bag. They stay individually frozen, so I can just pull out the number I need without having to pry them apart.

freeze them , then re-heat in the oven checking for dryness . this works for egg rolls also .

let cool completely on a wire rack. Then slip in a zipper bag and freeze. They perk right back up in a toaster oven (I'm sure a regular ove, too, we just use the toaster oven for this)

Wrap each one separately in Saraann wrap and freeze them in a bigger baggie ...

Freeze them, then store in ziplock bags for a busy morning's breakfast..

In crisco.
