Take a cucumber and slice off the end so you can stand it upright. Take a sharp fork, experiment with different forks, and run it down the side of the cucumber cutting into the peel.
Then slice it into rounds and you should have a cute pattern around the edge. Easier to show than explain, but I hope that made sense. These are great for canapes or salads.
I put a dab of flavored cream cheese in the middle, add a sprig of basil or parsley. Or add a tiny shrimp or a green olive slice. Enjoy have fun.

Peel the cucumber and slice it into 1 inch thick rounds. Using a spoon, scoop out most the the seeds to create a little cup, but leave the bottom intact. Fill with a dollop of crab salad, or anything else

Peel the cucumber, run the tines of a fork down it length wise, then cut into slices. The cucumber slices will have little ridges all the way around.

I peel them, then take a fork and slide it down each side carving out ridges in it all the way around. Then I slice them. It makes the edges look interesting.
