Cupcake question?!

Question: Could any of you bakers out there give me some advice on how to fill cupcake papers the right level. I try to follow the instuctions but some of my cupcakes get too high and some too low.It seems it also depends on the cake recipe as to how high the batter bakes.I am clueless.

The cupcake holder should be about half (or just over half) full of batter. To make sure all of your cupcakes are even, try using a quarter-cup measuring cup or a cookie-dough scoop to transfer the batter into the molds.

Good luck baking!

I usualy fill them halfway up and then whatever the heat says on the box of mix if you are using the cake mix

i'm not a baker but i know to fill up to about half way on regular cupcake mixtures.
it always seems to be perfect for me.

Sup, its just really judging it. normally to fill a cupcake patty, i would normally fill it about 3/4 of the way, as it has to rise. this should apply to all cupcakes, also dont go over board and fill them to the top because they just dont turn out then

fill it half and put one table spoon more

i do the 3/4 full method and always make sure the oven is a little hotter at first.
then turn it down. then you will not get variation in height.

sorry no can do
