How do you make an omelet?!

Question: I can cook eggs pretty well but I don't know how to make an omelet.
I know what ingredients and such to put in but i'm not really sure on how to cook it.
So I need step by step instructions.
Please be specific.
Lots of details.

I asked the same question, and used this site to make an omelet in the morning.

spray pan with PAM
cook scrambled eggs on one side
top with veggies and fold in half

its that simple.

crack four eggs into a bowl

have frying pan on heat, with oil

add milk into the four eggs in bowl

wisk the eggs and milk together, at a fast pace

pour into the frying pan

and scrrrrraaaaan !

1. take what you want inside your omelet and saute it in butter or olive oil for a little bit until it's a little more tender than before or warm enough, or melted (i.e. cheese, peppers, ham etc)

2. place the sauteed stuff on the side and start frying your egg on the majority of the pan

3. when the eggs *just* get solid, put the insides on top and fold the eggs over it, cook to how you want it

or if you want to be lazy, just mix the eggs with whatever you want in the omelet chopped up, and then pour into pan and fry.

spray with Pam

crack egg in pan

let the egg spread across the whole pan

put anything you want on it

check the egg and if it looks ready fold it in half

let every thing melt in side

then it is ready!!!

I made one yesterday..
1. Melt butter in a pan
2. Cook tomato and bacon on low.
3. Remove these ingredients from heat.
4. Separate 2 eggs.
5. Beat the whites to form soft peaks.
6. Mix water, oragano, egg yolks, salt and pepper together and fold this mixture into the egg whites.
7. Pour mixture into pan that still has bacon/tomato flavour int it.
Cook gently, then flip.
8. Remove from heat when both sides are golden brown, place the tomato mixture, parsley and cheese on on half of the omelette and fold in half.

Enjoy!

For an amazing fluffy omelet using 2 eggs
Separate whites and beat until fluffy and forming peaks.
Having whisked the yellows fold them into the whites.
At this stage you can add mushrooms and or anything else you like, plus salt and pepper to taste.
Having melted a small amount of butter in the pan pour in fluffy mix to cook. Do not stir while cooking. When the bottom of the omelet is cooked place under grill to cook top. When cooked just slide it onto your plate.

1, Spary frying pa w/ Pam
2, Crack 4 eggs in the frying pan
3, Add whatever u want in, e.i peppers,ham
4, When concoction becomes hard, but soft, it's done!

I hope I helped!

Omelete's although not hard to make, do take some skill in folding and making fluffy. The fool proof way is to may a zip lock omlette. I provided a link below that shows you how to make them. It easy, and you can get friends and family involved. It takes a little longer than doing in a skillet, but make flawless omlettes everytime. Nice thing is, you can add any variety of ingredients in each bag to make different omlette's at one time. Check out the link and give it a try, trust me, it is the easiest way. Check out the second link, it is actually a video on how to do this.
Good Luck

Put two tbs butter in skillet, heat on medium high......You said you knew ingredients so we will move on........Pour egg mixture in skillet. Let stand until cooked on bottom..will bubble on top....Use your spatula to cut in half. This makes it easier to flip. Flip ...place cheese. when bottom get light brown flip together and remove from skillet....HAPPY EATING
