Is Cucumber healthier to eat with or without skin?!

Question: With. Most veggies are better to eat with the skin. It's where most of it's nutrients and vitamins are. If you don't like cucumber skin or have kids who don't, try this:

Wash a cucumber. use an apple peeler and peel a big strip off the cucumber every so often so you have lines around the cucumber of skin and no skin. Then cut into circles. It looks like little wheels and it's pretty for a party tray and kids like it.
This way you get half the skin, at least.

With, and plus, the skin, has its own taste too. I think it tastes better with the skin. And most the nutrients are in the skin too!

WITH (as LONG as it's washed off- before you eat it!). It's more Nutritious.

The standard unwrapped cucumbers are heavily waxed to keep them crisp. The skin is pretty nasty on those. The bigger, seedlees "English" cucumbers don't have that problem and the skin is tender and edible.

My Mom used to do Frankee's trick only with a fork...just scrape along the length all the way around and then cut rounds.

with the skin cause it has vitamins in it

I'd have to say with but I'm not sure

Actualy it's claimed (I have not seen scientific proof), that because cucumber contains so much water, if you eat it with the skin, you actually use up more calories digesting it, than the cucumber gives you ...

WITH.....
Lindata has the best answer to me, thats the way I do them too.
