1/2 pound ground round
pinch of garlic powder
one table spoon choped red onion
two whole green chilies seeds removed
mix onions , garlic powder and meat together
cook meat on one side , flip over
stuff green Chile with cheese
lay on top of meat
slice small amount of cheese and place
on top of meat and Chile
cover burger with top to finish cooking and melt the cheese
covering the meat and cheese will bring out the flavor and make it juicy

Is there really a San Antonio in New Mexico too?... or were you in Texas?

yes, tx2step, there is a San Antonio, NM. It is located on I-25 north of Truth or Consequences, NM, which is north of Las Cruses, NM. Try doing a google map search, simple.

I love Green Chili, so long as it doesn't have pork in it. My favorite way to have green chili is to go buy some fresh roasted chili peppers (or roast them yourself) and throw it all together at home...yummy! I use lots of chopped roasted green chili peppers, chopped onion, cumin, garlic, and white beans, sometimes I add chopped chicken breast.
