Help needed for cake?!

1 (517 1/2 g) package devil's food cake mix
1 (113 1/2 g) package instant chocolate pudding mix
473.18 ml semi-sweet chocolate chips
414.03 ml water
2.00 egg, beaten
4.93 ml vanilla extract
Chocolate Glaze
44.37 ml cocoa
29.58 ml butter, melted
236.59 ml powdered sugar (10X)
29.58-44.37 ml hot water
is this a good receipe and also i cannot see to find the chocolate pudding mix. Instead can i use say an choclate sponge mix?
Also for my glazing does the sugar have to be powdered or can i use say sugar which we put in our tea?

You don't really need the pudding mix so I'd leave it out (the packaged devils food cake should be plenty moist; and you do not want to sub reg sugar for powdered....
IDK bout the chocalate thibg but you need to use powdered sugar because they taste diffrent and if you use regular sugar, it could taste bad.
First, check the label of the cake mix to be sure that there isn't already pudding added into it! You could always add vanilla pudding, if you have to. (I don't know what sponge mix is) ...... Do NOT substitute sugar for powdered sugar. It will be runny, gritty goo, and not smooth icing/frosting/glaze.....
