Ok to rebake cupcakes?!

Question: I baked cupcakes yesterday, and I didn't even have one until today, and when I bit in to it, it's really mushy in the middle, they are totally undercooked. Do you think I can put them back in the oven even though it's been a whole day??

Sorry, it is too late for them now. Next time, stick a toothpick in to see if they are done. If it comes out clean with no batter on it, the cupcakes are done. If you don't have a toothpick, you can use a piece of uncooked spaghetti.

It never works out. It's best to just eat the outside and toss the rest of it or just bake new ones.

you should microwave it or you could try a toaster oven.

They are probably a lost cause. Did you check doneness with a toothpick?

Putting cookies or cakes back into the oven has never worked for me (and I've been catering desserts over 30 years) .... Maybe you can use the outsides of them on the bottom of ice cream, or to line a trifle dish:) ... You might need to get a cheap ($2-$3) oven thermometer to keep in there. Your oven may not be getting to the right temperature; or you put the cupcakes into a cold oven:)

I don't think you will get good results. Sorry about that.

BTW Shy's right, next time test them with a toothpick or a knife blade.
