Has anyone ever made their own Mozzarella cheese before? Where do you recommend I buy my supplies?!

Question: I started when I was 15 and now teach( sometimes) classes on it.
I did so for some famous companies.
H.E.B. in Texas.
Damian Mandola( founder of Carrabba's)
Whole Foods( some stores).
Some TV and magazine articles( The Nibble) "Whey to Go"
I did one on Mozz and one on Ricotta.

As far as supplies, you need very little.
I need more info so you may want to email me.
Is it for you home or for a retail store?
I need to know the quantity you'd be making?

Mixing bowls
paddle
salt
water
cheese curd
The supplies are easy to get.
Its the curd I need to know about.
Thats why Home or Store owner?

I see someone had a prob with temp and hands burning.
I'd be glad to help anyone who's having a prob.--email.

I do all the time and get my stuff from here:
http://www.cheesemaking.com/

It's pretty easy :)

Dee has the answer!!

I used to make cheese all the time, and the link someone else posted was my main supplier, although for the cirtic acid powder, I went to my local pharmacy and picked up a big jar cheaper. But its easy to make. The hardes't part I would say is keeping it the right temp while stretching it without burning your hands! I make 2 # blocks at a time.

The hardest part is finding fresh buffalo milk. They aren't like the buffalo we have here in the US.

http://www.cheesemaking.com/ and http://www.cheesesupply.com/ are among the best suppliers of general cheese stuff. ?
