Does using veggie or corn oil for quick frying fish have less saturated fats?!

Question: I am baking my portion but frying for another.

Answers: I am baking my portion but frying for another.

If you heat the pan til it is super hot, then seer the fish on both sides, you can finish it off in the oven. This does 2 things; the seering seals in the moisture of the fish. The baking will cook off most of the oil so you will not have to worry about the oils fats. make sure you add the oil after the pan is already hot.

u should fry with sunflower oil

veggie oil does not have any saturated fats (or trans fats) unless you are using a tropical oil (like palm which is saturated)

If you are pan frying under medium to medium low heat the olive oil is a good choice. if you are cooking under high heat or deep frying then DO NOT use olive oil. It has a low smoke point and will taste lousy AND add carcinogens to your food

I recommed using olive oil... but you won't get much use out of it.... just pan sear and finish it in the oven.

Neither type has saturated fats, so either would be fine.

less than what? Lard?>yes Crisco?>yes

Veg.,corn oil, canola oil are same thing.......

The healthiest for frying is olive oil, and the second best is Canola, or grape seed, one of the worst is peanut, but corn oil is also us there pretty good.
