Can I freeze pigs in a blanket?!
If I make up some extras will they be OK to freeze? I would be microwaving them to warm them.
I know that I have frozen croissant sandwiches from the store that I sometimes eat but I'm sure they're made with a ton of preservatives.
Answers: My son seems to love these pigs in a blanket I made for him with packaged croissant dough and this really yummy brand of casing hot dogs by Boar's Head.

No because the blankets keep them warm. HAHA! Bad joke I know.
If you seal them well in a bag or container, then when you heat them up in the microwave, wrap them in a damp paper towel.
I don't think they do but others seem to like them just fine. Any bread product in my opinion doesn't freeze well.
I would make them up and freeze them without baking them first. When you are ready for them, you can just take them out of the freezer and throw them in the oven. They don't come out good in the microwave.
I would guess no, because when it defrosts, the meat will give off extra moisture that will make the dough soggy.
You could always try to freeze a couple next time you make a batch... that way if they don't turn out good, you only throw out a few of them.
