Has anyone tried cooking chicken in a Ziploc steamfresh bag?!

Question: If so, how did it turn out?

Answers: If so, how did it turn out?

I never tried that, but the steamfresh vegetables were really a disappointment.

i wouldn't try it.

No ... I don't really care for the added flavor of melted plastic on my chicken.....

Steaming Splendor
This article does a review of both glad and ziplock steaming bags. Since the bags are made with the vents unlike normal plastic bags the food is cooked evenly. 5 chefs came together to compete using these products and some pretty fancy dishes were made.

Those steamfresh bags are great! I wouldn't use bone in chicken, but a boneless breast will be fine. Just add some seasonings like Mrs. Dash, salt, pepper etc. and follow the cooking directions on the bag. Make sure you season it well or you will have a really bland piece of chicken.
