Question: I have a can of apple pie filling and want to turn it into apple crisp. I know you use brown sugar and oats but don't remember what else and how much


Answers: I have a can of apple pie filling and want to turn it into apple crisp. I know you use brown sugar and oats but don't remember what else and how much

1/2 C Brown Sugar
2 Tbl. Flour
4 Tb. Salted Butter
Use a pastry blender and blend these three ingred.

Once it looks like tiny little balls then add your 1 C. Oats, (Instant or Old Fashion)

Bake on 350 until golden brown anywhere between 30 to 45 min. Good luck.

1/3 C brown sugar
21 oz. apple pie filling
1/3 C vanilla wafter crumbles
1/4 C oats
2 Tbs. brown sugar
2 Tbs. melted butter

Combine first 3 ingredients in a 1 qt. dish.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over apple mix.
Bake for 25 min. at 375.

Preheat oven to 375* Place apples in a 2 quart square baking dish. Stir in sugar
In a medium bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour and nutmeg or cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle over top apples. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until fruit is tender and topping is golden.Eat warm or cold.
