Cooking eggs dilemma?!

Question: I make eggs every so often for breakfast (in a skillet), and I ususally do them over medium (without flipping) so the yolk is liquid but the whites are totally cooked. However, when I use pan spray, the whites turn out rubbery. Today I tried it with a pat of I can't Believe it's Not Butter and the eggs were awesome...not rubbery, and great flavor...but they stuck to the pan like nobody's business. How can I find a happy medium? What do you use when making eggs?

I use butter on a low heat and never have a problem. You are just not using enough of that fake stuff, it's half water. I can believe it's not butter!

I would suggest a nonstick pan or a well seasoned cast iron pan. I they "butter" spray taste greast, but I haven't had luck cooking with it. My best fried eggs are with cooking spray in my cast iron pan.

butter and a good non-stick pan

bacon or sausage grease or butter. BTW, if your eggs are "over medium", the "over" means flipped. You're fixing sunny side medium.

Try I Can't Believe Its Not Butter spray. I love it and use it for almost everything!!!

I always cook my eggs over medium, let the pan get warm first..spray with non-stick spray and a little butter. Then add the egg. Hope this helps.

use a nonstick pan with the butter, or don't leave on such a high heat, just turn down the heat a little, use a little oil, some of the butter, and cook for a little longer. You're good to go.

I use bacon grease and so I do not have to flip use the spatula to push some of the bacon grease on top of the egg to cook the white. This makes it turn out perfect and great for dipping toast without the hazard of flipping.
