Cheerios recipe?!


Question: Does anyone have a recipe that uses cheerios (it needs to be like squares or drop cookies) one that doesnt need eggs or marshmallows or corn syrup b/c I dont have any of that right now..

I use different 'base ingredients'. But, how about melting some chocolate in a double boiler (or really low heat), stir in the Cherrio's and then just drop some 'lumps' on waxed paper. In about an hour or so they are cool enough to eat. Very simple but my kids love them.

Cheerio Bars


Amount Measure Ingredient

1/2 cup Peanut butter
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Honey
3 cups Cheerios
Salted peanuts

Bring sugar and honey to a boil in 2 qt saucepan. Remove from heat,stir in
peanut butter until blended. Pour in cheerios and mix until well coated.
Spread in buttered 9 x 13 pan and let cool. cut in squares.

My kids loved these when they were growing up.
