There are some foods that come close to providing lots of nutrition in a few slices:
This bread is dense and chewy and very high in calories and almost impervious to spoilage. It originated in the 1950's when the University of Alaska climbed 19,000 foot Mount Logan. They required a indestructible, high energy bread for the climbers. This recipe is a variation of the original and has a high fat content and a 4 inch square provides 718 calories.
Logan Trail Bread
3 Cups whole wheat flour
3 Cups white flour (you can vary the types of flour)
1/2 Dry Milk
2 1/2 Cups rolled oats
1 1/2 Cups brown sugar
3 teas. baking powder
2 teas. salt
1 Cup soy grits
1 1/4 cups chopped nuts
2 Cups raisins
1 Cup honey\1/2 Molasses
2 Cups margarine or butter
1 Cup oil
6 Eggs
Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl and stir well. Combine remaining ingredients in a medium bowl and beat until well-combined. Fold into dry mixtures and combine well. Divide equally among four pans and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. The bread does not rise to the top of the pan. Final product four loaves dense chewy trail bread.
There are many more ways to make this bread even more nutrient rich by adding peanut butter and soy flour and mixing grains and even meat in.

Bring A large pot of water to a full boil.
Next stick your head in the pot for about 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes pull your head out of the pot and
stab yourself in the face with a fork.
If you can stab yourself in the face with a fork this
means your not fully cooked. Stick your head back in
the pot and keep stabbing yourself every few minutes.
When you can't stab yourself any longer you are done.
Cooking time varies with elevation. Bon-appetite!
