Whats can a make with a can of salmon?!
SALMON LOAF
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 TB. melted butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 (16 oz.) can salmon
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. sage
1 tsp. chopped parsley
1 TB. chopped onion
In small bowl, empty salmon can and take out the larger bones & skin. Mash the rest up really good with a fork... Mix everything else in really well. Pack into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 45-60 min......
Answers: You'd just want to use canned salmon for mixed dishes (i.e. salmon patties, salmon loaf, salmon log)... it has bones & skin in there, and doesn't taste as good as fresh salmon does - so it works better when incorporated with other ingredients....

You can chill it in fridge & serve it cold with salad and bread on the side.

Salmon loaf, or salmon patties/salmon cakes. Or just break it up and put it on top of a salad. Crumble it up and use it like tuna in casserole or like tuna salad.

Salmon patties. Can of salmon drained and bone out add 3/4 bread crumbs and grated onion about 1/2 cup, an egg, mix make patties and fry.
SALMON AND BROCCOLI-CHEESE PASTA
20 Minute Meal
2 packages (4.8 oz. each) pasta with four-cheese sauce
1/2 cup fat-free milk
1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli
1 can (14.75 oz.) or 2 cans (7.5 oz. each) traditional pack Alaska salmon OR 2 cans or pouches (6 to 7.1 oz. each) skinless, boneless salmon, drained and chunked
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
In large saucepan, prepare packaged pasta according to low-fat directions, stirring in an additional 1/2 cup milk. Microwave broccoli on HIGH for 3 minutes, rotating occasionally and pulling apart to thaw. During the last 3 minutes of pasta cook time, blend in broccoli, salmon, and lemon pepper seasoning, heat through.
Makes 6 cups, about 3 to 4 servings.
Salmon Croquette Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1 – 15 1/2 ounce can pink or red salmon
1 – medium onion, finely chopped (optional)
2 – large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup – saltines crushed
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
2 – tablespoons butter or extra virgin olive oil
Recipe Instructions:
1. As always, the key to great cooking is to be prepared and to use quality ingredients.
2. Drain juice from salmon. Pour salmon into a medium bowl and using a fork break salmon apart into small pieces.
3. Add onions, beaten eggs, crackers, salt and pepper to taste, mix thoroughly. Shape the mixture evenly into four cakes or patties.
4. Heat the butter or oil over medium heat in a medium skillet. Brown salmon croquette patties on both sides, 3-5 minutes on each side. Serve your salmon croquettes hot.
Note: you can lightly dust in flour before cooking if you want.
My mom used to make croquettes, syrup and biscuits lol. It was good, I don't know her recipe but here is one

You can make salmon cakes... kind of like crab cakes. There are recipes on the net for that.
