How Much Juice in a Lemon?!


Question: I wanted to use Bottled Lemon juice instead of squeezing my own lemon -

but dont know how Much Lemon Juice would equal 1 squeezed lemon.

LOL i know silly question, heck it may be on the bottle but its not here :(

it depends on the size of the lemon but I have gotten up to 1/4 cup for a fresh tree ripened lemon right off the tree. But, you could figure on average between 2 tablespoons and 3 tablespoons to be safe.

It's about 2 Tbsp for a largish lemon----more if you have a reamer.

Tough to give an exact amount because each lemon, and how you squeeze it, produces varying amounts...for instance if you microwave your lemon for a quick few seconds and then roll it on the counter pressing on it with your palm you're likely to get more juice than if you didn't do those things, not sure how much they work but that's what I hear and that's what I do for any citrus fruit.

So to make a long story short I would guess 1/4, maybe a bit less of a cup per lemon, maybe a bit less

I think 2 or 21/2 tbsp's depending on the size of you lemon.
