How should a Beef Fillet Steak be cooked ?!

Question: Here is the recipe I like ......

1 (8-ounce) bottle zesty Italian salad dressing
2 beef tenderloin fillets, 1 1/2 -2 inches thick
2 slices bacon
2 tablespoons steak sauce
2 teaspoons water

Pour the salad dressing into a shallow pan, place the steaks in the pan and let them marinate for 3 to 4 hours. Prepare a fire in a charcoal grill. Wrap a strip of bacon around each steak, securing it with a toothpick or kitchen twine. Grill the steaks over hot coals for about 8 minutes per side (5 minutes per side for rare). Baste with a mixture of steak sauce and water. For perfect steaks, turn them only once.

grilled or roasted medium rare.

burn it on the outside and keep it rare on the inside. its called phillidelphia style.

Medium-rare to Medium

It should be done in a frying pan, in a little butter on a medium heat cooked medium and then served with something delicious

You need to grill it, broil it, or pan fry it (griddle works too)
If its a good cut, all ya need is salt and pepper. Also, we like it medium rare!!

Seared outside using a pan, then finished off in an oven. Medium doneness should be the target to avoid it being hard.

Searing to seal of the juices and flavor inside then oven to avoid burning the outside.
