(look it up on allrecipies.com)

It's really simple to make and is the most incredible cake you'll ever eat!

Make Bakery White Frosting, Buy 1 jar Apricot Jam and 1 jar Raspberry Jam (low seed or no seed).

Buy a white cake mix, make as directed and put into two round pans. Cool.

Frost the top of one layer, put apricot jam on half of the top and raspberry jam on the other half. Place 2nd cake on top. Frost top and sides. If you want to Garnish the top with the jams, just make stripes on the top: space, jam, space 2nd jam, space....repeat.

Dump cake.
1 yellow cake mix
1 can of cherry pie filling
1 can of crushed pineapple
1 stick of butter/margarine
coconut (optional)

Directions: dump pie filling and pineapple in a 9 x 12 cake pan. spread desired amount of coconut. I usually use a whole bag (small bag) on top of fruit. Spread the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit. Cut the stick of butter into small pats and place on top of the cake mix. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 to 1 hour or until butter is melted and the crust (cake mix) is a golden brown. Remove from oven and cool.
Tastes great by itself or with ice cream/cool whip. Refrigerate leftovers. This cake reheats nicely in the microwave if you want it warm.

Yellow cake w/ milk chocolate frosting. In my entire life, I've never used a recipe to make a cake from scratch, as boxed mixes are just as yummy and super easy.

125g chocolate
100g butter
125g caster sugar
3 eggs, beaten
60g cornflour
1 tsp baking powder
Chocolate chips, optional

Recipe :
Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas 4).

1. Melt butter and chocolate together gently, over a low heat.
2. Separate eggs, beat, then add to chocolate mixture.
3. Add sugar, baking powder and cornflour, mix well and stir in chocolate chips if using.
4. Pour mixture into a greased 20 cm (8in) cake tin.
5. Cook for 30 minutes in a medium oven.
6. Test the middle with a knife to make sure it is cooked - if knife comes out clean, the cake is done.
7. Leave to cool for 10 minutes, remove from tin and cool on wire rack.
8. Dust with icing sugar to finish.

Advice :
For a sandwich cake, double the quantity and slice in half after cooling, or bake in separate tins. Make a chocolate buttercream filling, and sandwich together.

Try adding cherries or other ingredients for a change.

Great warm or cold - the ultimate comfort food!
