Will I get food poisioning?!!! HELP?!

Question: Basically... I was eating dinner at school, and my friend shouted about her chicken being bloody and pink and I looked at it & it was horrible and unedible so we took it to the kitchen staff and asked if this is edible and they said no, they had to put the batch back into the oven because that tray wasnt cooked, and I had eaten 3 pieces of chicken from that batch.
Although I looked at the remains of my 3 chicken drumsticks and they were no way as juicy and bloody as hers, but there was small amounts of blood near the bone & I recall thinking it was dark pink/brown. It tasted ok, but WILL I GET ILL?!!!
i'm so worried- i have a major phobia of being sick, ever since food poisining 6 years ago!!!

HELP ME!!!

HELP ME!!!

Since the center was the raw part, you should be OK if the chicken was handled correctly. People get things like e-coli from germs on the OUTSIDE of the meat. Hamburger is ground so the inside and outside of a hamburger can be contaminated.

But, with the chicken, since near the bone is where it wasn't cooked, you should be OK. As the other person answered, time will tell. Don't work yourself up to getting sick or you can make it happen, even though it has nothing to do with the chicken.

I raise chickens so I'm speaking from that experience. Also, the very first time I ever cooked chicken for my family (I was about 12 yrs old then), I thought all you had to do was brown it - not bake it in the oven too, so I served it to my family that way. My brother ate his large breast (which was the least cooked piece) and didn't experience any problems - no sickness - nothing.

I doubt it, but you will know within 24 hours

that all depends on how the chicken was handled, and cleaned before the cooking and how it was handled after, such as sitting at room temperature.......only time will tell.
Hope you are o.k.

The brown near the bone was probably blood from the chicken's leg that had been broken before slaughter, you should be OK

It sounds alright
I don't think chicken is one of the worst foods to eat undercooked but if it does effect you it shouldn't be too bad, won't last more than a day hopefully. Just sit tight and relax, try not to get too worked up about it.

You probably wont get sick from such a small amount. If the food was just undercooked and NOT contaminated, then you should be fine.
The worst that may happen will be a little diarrhea or stomach cramp, but you'll be okay.
:)

Your have to wait and see wont yah !

When I got food poisoning off chicken, it happened within two hours of eating it. If you were to have it, I`m sure that it would have presented with some symptoms by now. Good luck, hope that you will be ok.
