MAKE DAMN SURE THEY ARE ALIVE AND KICKING THEN PURGE THEM IN A POT OF SALT OR BRINE WATER TO MAKE THEM THROW ALL THE **** OUT OF THEIR STOMACHS AFTER PURGING WASH THEM REAL DAMN GOOD AND PUT THEM IN A BIG POT OF BOILING WATER IT WILL ALREADY BE FULL OF CORN ON THE COB AND BOILED TATERS AND SOME GOOD RED PEPPERS NOT TOO MANY AND TONY CATCHITOIRES SEASONING SOME ONIONS BOIL THEM TILL THE CRAWDADS QUIT KICKING AND SQUIRMING THEN BOIL THEM SOME MORE AND DID YOU REMEMBER TO DRINK COLD BEER ALL THE WHILE?
AND YOU MUST HAVE PLENTY OF COLD BEER ON HAND AS THE CRAWFISH WILL BE HOT IF YOU USED ENOUGH RED PEPPER AND SEASONING.
OK NOW THEY ARE DONE AND WE ARE READY TO EAT DUMP THE POT WITH THE CRAWFISH AND THE CORN AND THE TATERS OUT IN A JON BOAT OR PICKUP BED OR EVEN ON A SHEET OF PLY WOOD GET A BIG PAN FULL OF THEM THEN PINCH THE TAIL AND SUCK THE HEAD TILL YOU ARE EITHER FULL OR ON FIRE AND DRINK MORE BEER
Well, I can't help, but please make sure they aren't alive when you do it. I think it's so cruel when people cook things that are living..
Dang, haven't done that in years. But last time I did it, I took some crab boil, dumped it in a pot of boiling water, and tossed in a bunch of crawdads. 144 to be specific. A good feed was had by all.
Throw some corn, potatoes, and cajun smoked sausage into the pot for eating, and lemon and onions for added seasoning.
For this boil, a friend suggested we put in some whole fresh mushrooms. The mushrooms soak up plenty of the boil seasonings and are delicious.
