Macadamia nuts; whole or chopped for cookies?!

Question: I have a FABULOUS (yes Pippi, it's fabulous) recipe for White Chocolate Macadamia nut cookies. I've always used the chopped nuts. Might they be better if I leave them whole and larger? Opinions please?

Keep using the chopped ones. If you use whole, I think the cookies wouldn't have much stability -- they would essentially end up being cookie dough between the nuts, with the nuts uncovered both at top and bottom.

And the word is spelled FAAAAABULOUS. Jeez, use the spell checker, will ya?

chopped, because that way it will add flavor
but not take over the cookie, since your
using whole white chips

coarsely chopped macadamia nuts would be perfect for those yummy cookies

chopped!

chopped

i think roughly chopped, if you leave them whole they are just too big and the cookies could break because there is not enough dough around them to bind them.

Plus then, there are crazy folks like me that think oh, there is one whole nut there, that is so and so calories, but if you chop em, they don;t count.

Roughly chopped.
