QUICK! where would i find morton ice cream salt in a grocery store like under salt or sugar or what????!

Question: I've given you a link below to the Morton site so you can see what the Red box looks like. I never knew they actually had Ice Cream Salt on the market. It's probably a specialty item but would be near the other salts if a grocery carries it. We always just used rock salt or whatever we had for clearing the ice on our driveway at the time (bought at the hardware store). This salt is just to enhance the melting of the ice outside of the ice cream maker, not in the ice cream itself. DO NOT EAT THIS TYPE OF SALT!

Baking aisle

Yah. Definitely the baking isle.LOL.

The only place I have ever seen it is in the isle where they sell the ice cream makers in Wal mart.

usually near the salt and spices.

try the baking aisle, bottom shelf, near the other salt.... or your store may now have an aisle for "Seasonal Items", where they've begun to sell summer things, and it could be there. It could also be close to where the bbq charcoal is sold.....

either in the baking aisle or the canning aisle..

Its usually in the spice isle on the very bottom row below the spices or near the salt. I make a lot of ice cream and salt packed prime rib roasts so, I use water softener salt. It's the same stuff and oh so much cheaper. Don't use the granules you need the salt.
