Cheesecake.?!
Answers: Is there a way to get a cheesecake out of a normal pan without damaging it, to have it sit as a regular cake would on a platter? the crust will not go all the way up the sides of it. any help.. suggestions?
Brush some melted butter around a 9 by 3-inch cake pan. Adhere parchment to the bottom and the sides.
Place cheesecake into a preheated water bath while cooking. After cooking, remove the cheesecake from the water bath and place in the refrigerator for 6 hours to completely cool before serving.
When ready to serve, place the entire cake pan into a hot water bath for about 15 seconds. Unmold onto a cake round or serving dish.
Make sure it's cold before you take it out!
I've only had success with a spring-form pan. And you have to let it chill before you try to remove the pan.
There is no "normal" pan that you can do this with but you can use a spring-form pan to get the results you want.
line it with parament paper first thin pull it out carefully and slid the paper out from under it wail its on it serving tray
line the bottom of your pan with parchment paper after baking(allow to cool) run a butter knife around the edges cover pan with parchment paper then a plate and invert then when it has released to the plate remove the paper from the bottom and cover with the plate that you will be serving on invert again and cover with desired topping s Hope that this helps
When you are finished baking & cooling the cheesecake, cover the entire pan with plastic wrap & store in the freezer overnight. The next day remove from the freezer & remove plastic wrap, heat bottom & sides of pan on the stove over low/med flame (if you have a gas stove). Invert onto a cake board or flat surface & invert back onto your cake plate. When you are preping your pan for baking, spray pam or vegetable spray onto the bottom & sides of the pan then press your graham crust into the pan. Fill the pan with the chesecake batter & bake off. Also, bake your cheesecake in a water bath to avoid browning the top & to keep it from drying out. As well as helping it bake evenly. Good Luck!!!
cheesecake is ok
