Has anyone every tried a grilled Fluffernutter sandwich? I just found a jar of marsh mellow fluffy in the?!
Answers: pantry.
my friend and i ate them in college. they were the bomb especially with an ice cold glass of milk to wash it down.
to make (with less likely to get sticky messy hands) butter one side of the bread (sit in pan butter side down) and spread peanut butter on it in the pan. spread marshmallow whip on the other side put on top of the other side butter the top and grill like grilled cheese.
Didn't Elvis used to eat those with peanut butter & bananas? I wish I had some recipes that didn't use the whole jar:) I never have any left..... But, you can also put it between graham crackers too
nope. never had one. but it sounds good.
Just don't spread the PB and Fluff to the edge or it will ooz out when grilling, in a pan with butter or on a panini grill is nice, even make them freeze for a few minutes to solidify and this will help to.
Nope, but I have an ex whom him and his friends all swore fluffernutter was the best sandwich ever....don't see why grilling it would hurt, just maybe not use to much mashmallow, as it might be messy.
Here's a recipe for one:
