How do people make sushi?!
Answers: Its very tasty and I really dont know how to make it! ALthough it look simple.
I luv sushi too! And yes some people here think "sushi" mean raw fish.. its not. "Sashimi" mean raw fish and not sushi.
My best advice is to ask the japanese chef immediately!
But basically its white rice rolled with rice vinegar, so the rice would stick perfectly and taste really good. and then you just add any fresh and clean raw seafood on top of the rolled rice, salmon slice, caviar(yummy), or other sea food.
Oh and dont forget to wrap the rolled rice with dried seaweed!
buy some raw fish, put it on a plate.
You make rice in a rice cooker and then add rice vinegar, which makes the rice stick perfectly. then you cool the rice to room temperature. you put the rice layed flat on see weed and place your favorite ingredients inside, then tool the see weed up using a sushi bamboo mat. just google sushi making instructions. its really easy to make at home and tastes delicious!!!
first you put a seeweed on a plate.....then you take rice and spread it on the seaweed.you add your toppinds..i prefer egges, maybee fisk..yellow cucumber...roll it up..cut it..then your done
Sushi is either veges or meat mixed with rice and then rolled up in seaweed. Get a book on Japanese cooking. That should help you out, or do a web search.
Here is a video for you (a short ad comes before the chef):

ok people sushi isnt raw fish. the definition of sushi is vinegared rice!
It is easy to make your own sushi at home. It just takes practice. Its not as mysterious as it looks!
The most important thing to remember is that you MUST learn how to make perfect sushi rice. When I first learned how to roll sushi, it didn't look anything like it did in my favourite Japanese restaurant.
But, if you prepare the sushi rice correctly , your sushi roll will still taste good even if it doesn't look so pretty.
I've posted some instructions and a video on how to make sushi rice on my website. There is also alot of other information including recipes and how to find the right sushi ingredients.
Best of luck! And remember, Practice, Practice, Practice!
