Cooking with spumante vs. champagne?!

Question: Cooking with spumante vs!. champagne!?
The recipe calls for dry champagne (cooking pork), but all I could find was spumante!.
Will this work or do I need to drive further to get champagne!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
actually pork could handle the sweetness of the spumante!. If the rest of the recipe has a sweet edge like many pork glazes do, then it might work!.

Otherwise don't worry about the bubbles and go with a light, crisp dry white wine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would just use a good white wine!. Something I like to drink!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It will work both are sparkling

just don't cook with anything that you wouldn't drink!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

sure why not there both champagnes !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

spumante will do just as wellWww@FoodAQ@Com
