There are cashew and almond butters, but they are rather expensive!.
For a substitute for peanut butter that is nutfree, there's pea-butter - and it's not so bad, we had to use it when nuts weren't allowed at our son's school!.

I don't believe that products like these are on sale in markets!.
I love pecans, I make my own pecan butter at home!. It's really simple!. Place the pecans in a food processor and pulse them until they are coarsely chopped!. Add oil until the desired consistency you want!. Salt to taste!. Use just as you would peanut butter!! My kids love the stuff on toast with bacon!. Me, I prefer mine on toast with sliced apple!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can find it at stores that sell health or whole foods, as well as stores that sell in bulk (by weight) They have cashew, almond, and pecan!. Generally it's ground to order, sort of in a big coffee grinder looking contraption!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cashew butter is very popularWww@FoodAQ@Com

Sure there is! Try whole foods stores/health food stores like Trader Joe's or Wild Oats!. You may even find some in ethnic grocery stores!. One that comes to mind would be tahini, a sesame seed butter---great for dressings and dips like hummus and baba ganouj!Www@FoodAQ@Com
